Appointment Confirmations
We will try to contact you a few days prior to your appointment to remind you of the date and time, if you have not already confirmed with us. However this is a courtesy service, and we do expect patients to keep track of dates and times of their appointments.
Payment of Fees
Payment is expected at the time of your appointment. We accept payment by EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard and Internet Banking.
We are Affiliated Providers for Southern Cross Health Society, and First Choice Network Providers for NIB insurance. Please make sure you provide us with your membership number prior to or at your appointment.
All surgery invoices are expected to be paid within one month of the invoice date.
Any balance remaining unpaid one month after the date of invoice will attract a fee and may be added to the outstanding balance at the end of each calendar month, up to the actual date of payment.
Any debt collection, legal or other costs incurred in the collection of outstanding amounts will also be payable by you.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend your appointment for whatever reason, please call our rooms at the earliest possible time. We require at least 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment, if you do not comply with this you will be charged a fee for this missed appointment.
Furthermore, if the fee for the missed appointment remains unpaid, no further appointments will be made available.
Exceptions may be made to this, but only at the discretion of the Surgeon and Practice Manager.
Zero Tolerance
We have a ZERO tolerance towards bad behaviour. Any behaviour, verbal or physical, which causes any staff member to feel uncomfortable, embarrassed or threatened is unacceptable, either in person, over the phone or in written correspondence, this includes:
- Attempted or actual, aggressive or threatening physical actions towards any member of staff
- The use of aggressive, threatening or abusive language (including raising of the voice, swearing and cursing, shouting, attempted intimidation)
We treat our patients with courtesy and respect, and we ask the same in return.
